About Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas

Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas is an outlet shopping center located in Primm, Nevada, approximately 36 to 40 miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip. It sits just off Interstate 15 at Exit 1, near the California state line, making it a convenient stop for travelers driving between Southern California and Las Vegas. The mall is part of a tourist region along a major highway corridor rather than a suburban or beach area. It is connected to the Primm Valley Resort, a nearby hotel and casino complex, and was originally designed to attract motorists on this busy interstate route. The mall opened in 1998 and was initially developed as a sizable outlet center with around 100 retailers. Its layout includes two themed courts, one inspired by New York City and the other by Miami Art Deco styles. The retail mix traditionally included fashion, footwear, sportswear, home goods, and luxury brand outlets. Some of the larger stores historically included brands such as H&M, Polo Ralph Lauren, Old Navy, Williams-Sonoma, Coach, and Nike. The mall also offered a food court with multiple dining options, including fast food and casual restaurants like McDonald's and Carls Jr. Parking facilities were ample, with over 1,600 spaces available to accommodate visitors. Over the years, the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas experienced a significant decline in tenant occupancy and shopper traffic, largely due to competition from other outlet centers closer to Las Vegas and the rise of online retail. By the early 2020s, the mall was rebranded as Prizm Outlets but continued to lose stores, with only a few remaining by 2024 and just one store operating as of mid-2025. Despite this decline, the mall still features basic amenities such as parking and food services, though the retail variety has diminished substantially. Typical mall hours have varied over time, but outlet malls in this region generally operate daily from late morning (around 10 AM) to evening (around 9 PM), with some variation on weekends and holidays. Given the mall's current state, visitors should verify hours and store availability before planning a visit.
